This is The Dude's friend and cagemate Walter.  Walter has a strange compulsion to drag this red dog toy behind the couch every time he sees it, hence the video instead of a picture.

The Dude

Yet another non-cat cute animal, but this guy is totally worth posting.  I met Eva's neighbors' pet ferrets yesterday in New Jersey.  This one is The Dude.  One of the neighbors adopted him when he found him cowering outside after somebody abandoned him :,-C  I'm glad he's got a good home now!

Baby Dragon (a.k.a. Claudius)

My good friend Eva had a Halloween party last night at her fabulous apartment in Weehawken, and she dressed as the Mother of Dragons from Game of Thrones.  Arguably the most important part of her costume was her dragon baby, Claudius.  He was such a good cat and wore his costume with few complaints for most of the night.  Cuuuuute!

Bronn & Marigold

My good friend Eva sent me a couple of pictures of some of the kitties who live near her house in New Jersey.  She has been putting out food near one of her windows to try to get cat sightings.  The grey one is Bronn, and the Himalayan-looking one is Marigold.  Very adorable!  Now all I need is pictures of the groundhog family that lives in her backyard.

Claudius in Weehawken

My good friend Eva, along with her adorable buddy Claudius, moved to Weehawken, New Jersey a couple of months ago.  Eva suggested that perhaps Claudius might need an updated picture on City Kitties, so here he is, hanging out in his new apartment:

Turns out they have a pretty fabulous apartment, including a rooftop deck with an uninterrupted view of Midtown Manhattan.  I was lucky enough to find this out at their 4th of July party this week.  Here is a nice picture, which includes the giant, orange moon that rose over the city that night:

Cat-sitting Week

This week I am a cat-sitter for the first time ever. But what makes this most exciting is that I am sitting for two cats who each live in two separate Brooklyn locations:

Last night I went to a party at my friend Eva's new apartment in Kensington. Her cute cat, Claudius, managed to look after (and sit on) the coats in the bedroom while also taking the time to mingle with the guests :)
