Dora
Let me just preface this post by saying there is an insane number of rats on 125th Street. I've lived by several main thoroughfares in the city, but none have such a serious rodent problem. Anyhow, that being said, it is good to have some cats around. So it is no surprise that Jimmy and I met Dora last night. She lives in a bodega. She is probably a great mouser, but she is a bit small (and these rats are big!) and very shy.
Loudmouth's Neighbor
Right after Jimmy and I met Loudmouth, we met a cat who lives (inside) a few doors down the street.
Somewhere
Jimmy accidentally labeled this kitty "Somewhere" in his email, but he actually saw it in Morningside Heights... as usual.
Loudmouth
Jimmy and I were walking in Harlem last night when we heard suuuuper loud meowing. We quickly found the culprit. This kitty was very friendly and meowed at us a bit more politely while we hung out with it for a bit. But the moment we left the suuuuper loud meowing re-commenced.

Park Hill Cat
I was supposed to do all kinds of fun stuff yesterday, including going to a Liberian festival on Staten Island and hosting a house warming party, but I got a fever instead and spent the day in bed. But my friends went to Staten Island and saw a city kitty in Park Hill! I wish I could have seen it :,-C Luckily Jen snapped a picture for me.

Halloween Cat
After going to Bushwick yesterday, I decided to head over to Glendale in Queens to visit Finback Brewery. I hadn't been to that part of Queens in three years, but it was kind of fun to revisit my old stomping grounds. Anyway, while walking to the brewery from Metropolitan Ave. I passed by this insane house! It seems that they love Halloween even more than I do :)
Morgan
Jimmy and I decided to go to Bushwick yesterday to check out some of the bookstores there. It was very weird for me because I used to live both just west and then just east of Bushwick, and the neighborhood is way more interesting now than it was when I lived over there. Anyhow, we saw this kitty immediately when we came out of the Morgan Ave. stop. KEEEEEET!!!!!
Manhattan Pallas's Cat
Jimmy saw this cat the other day in a park near Columbia. It reminded me a bit of this very cute video of a Pallas's cat taken outside its burrow in Asia.

Enorme
I was on my way to a date tonight on the Upper East Side when I saw this HUUUUUUUUGE cat in a corner store. This picture does not do the cat justice. It was easily twice as large as Doodle; not fat, just structurally enorme.
Amy Ruth
Jimmy and I were going to get some tasty soul food at Amy Ruth's today, but there was an insane number of people waiting to get in. So we continued on down the street and saw this cat!

Trashy
I'm naming this cat Trashy not because it is a trashy cat, but because it was walking through a bunch of trash that was all over the sidewalk when I saw it last night on 125th St.
Mini
I was walking up Lexington Ave. on the Upper East Side tonight when I spotted this adorable, fluffy, fuzzy kitty at a newsdealer. I want a long haired cat, but I don't particularly want to deal with the resulting amount of cat fur that would end up all over my clothes/apartment/life.
Cloudy Memory Cat
I have a terrible memory and can't remember if I posted this cat from Jimmy. If I did, sorry for the redundancy. If I didn't, here it is!
