Windsor

My good friend Suzy adopted another cat the other day.  His name is Windsor, like the town near where she lives in Connecticut.  Now Chloe has a friend to play with!

Here he is, giving the camera some sass:

City Kitties Travels: Cat Art

I saw this nice cat art in Portsmouth, New Hampshire the other day.

City Kitties Travels: Perkins Cove Cat

My boyfriend and I spotted this cat a few days ago in front of a house across from Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, Maine.  I think it is Doodle's rich cousin.

P.S. In unrelated news, it is now my birthday!

Gothamist Bodega Cats

My friend Jen sent me a link to a bodega cats project.  It is similar to City Kitties.  Very cute!

Guard Cat

My good friend Heidi did me an enormous favor this week by visiting my babies Scribble and Doodle while I went to Maine for a few days.  Thanks, Heidi!!
She also sent me a picture of a cute little cat she ran into in Park Slope on Union Street.  She said it stood behind the gate as she passed by and looked like she was either a well-trained house cat or a very territorial stray.  I would like to think she is the former.

Homeless Boston Cat(s)

My brother sent me this cat picture today. It is one of several homeless cats that live near his apartment in Brighton, Mass. I told him to bring them to a no-kill shelter so they can get adopted!

Central Park Wildlife

My boyfriend was nice enough to take a picture of this raccoon he saw in Central Park this weekend for my blog. He is so funny, because he thought it was a very sad cat that had something wrong with it because it had black eyes... Turns out the sad cat wasn't a sad cat at all! It was just a regular raccoon. See if you can spot it poking its head out from under the rock. It took me a couple of minutes to figure it out.

Sidewalk Cat

My good friend Julia came to visit me yesterday, and we spent the better part of the day just walking around.  At one point, I saw this little cat drawing in the sidewalk, but we walked so much that I don't quite remember where it was... It might have been on Chrystie Street a block or two south of Houston, but don't quote me on that!

P.S. I love the little heart!

Milo

I was at my friends Jen and Colette's house this morning in Jackson Heights and got to meet one of their two kitties, Milo!  Their other cat was much too shy, so I didn't get to meet him, but Milo more than made up for that.  He is very friendly, playful, and has beautiful grey fur and green eyes :-D

The Millionth Sunnyside Surprise

I saw this cat hanging out at the same pet store that I've seen allllll the other Sunnyside Surprises at.  Are we surprised?  Not really.
