Bronn & Marigold

My good friend Eva sent me a couple of pictures of some of the kitties who live near her house in New Jersey.  She has been putting out food near one of her windows to try to get cat sightings.  The grey one is Bronn, and the Himalayan-looking one is Marigold.  Very adorable!  Now all I need is pictures of the groundhog family that lives in her backyard.

St. Louis Louie

My good (and soon to be married!) friend Jenny is spending the day in St. Louis and just saw this little cat in a bookstore there.

Sheepshead Bay Cats

My friend Volana and I rode our bikes to Rockaway Beach today and saw these two (yes, there are two--see the one at the base of the tree?) little cats (along with their friend, who promptly ran into the brush) along the waterfront bike path in Sheepshead Bay.

Cat Vac

I took an extended walk to the subway this evening and was walking up Lafayette Street when I saw this painting of a cat with a dust buster.  I am not quite sure what this cat is doing vacuuming itself, but I am just going to assume it is non-sexual in nature.

I was in Chinatown today getting food for dinner with my boss April when I ran across this cute little cat sitting in a store!

City Kitties Travels: Denver Cat

I was in Denver this week for a conference and I saw this cat in the window of the apartment downstairs from the AirBnB one I stayed in.

Tucker

This morning I had an early flight out of LaGuardia to Denver.  I was fortunate enough for Jen and Colette to kindly let me stay at their apartment in Jackson Heights, so I wouldn't have to take a cab all the way from Bensonhurst.  You might remember their cat Milo, but I had never met their very shy cat Tucker.  I got lucky last night, though, when he came out to hang out with me!

Litter Box Cat

My good friend Suzy sent me a picture of this cat that her mom is taking care of for now at her West Springfield, MA home.  From what I understand, some neighborhood kids needed a safe place to keep it, so she took it in. It was, apparently, just chillin' in the litter box before it realized it was the place to go to the bathroom.

Cat Hat II

I saw this cat early last year in front of my work on Broadway, but this past week Will saw him again on Wall Street. He was lucky enough to get away with not giving the man a dollar.

Garden Cat

I'm not entirely sure, but I think Heidi has way more kitty sightings than me.  Thankfully, she shares her pictures!  This one she spotted at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania at a pretty cool light exhibit.

McSorley's Cat

I went to McSorley's Pub a couple of weeks ago with Will. I had initially sworn to never patronize this pub, since they did not serve women until 1970, but it actually turned out to be a fun place with, on top of that, a cute picture of a cat inside.

Forgotten Cat

I was going through the pictures on my boyfriend's phone today (with his permission, of course!) and found this cat!  He saw is a couple of weeks ago somewhere on the west side of Manhattan, but the email he sent it to me in never came through... then he forgot to resend it. Luckily, I found it! :-D
