One-Eyed Wonder and Friends

These adorable babycats are available for adoption at the Prospect Animal Clinic.  The one in the middle especially needs a home because it is missing an eye.  >^..^<   meow!

Pet Store Luna

This is Luna, Puffy's child, who lives at the pet store across the street from Jimmy's house.  There has been some confusion about which cat is which, but apparently this is the real offspring.

Luna says, "Feed me!"

GREENpoint Graffiti Cat

Brittany sent me this green graffiti cat that she saw in Greenpoint the other day!

Lunar New Year Kitten

Jimmy, Brittany and I were in Chinatown for the Lunar New Year parade and saw this kitten on Mulberry Street shortly after the parade ended.  We found her playing with a piece of confetti, and she was so friendly that she abandoned it to come over to say hi.  Above you can see her playfully batting at me trying to take a picture of her.  She even jumped into Jimmy's lap :-D

"It Needs a Name"

Volana and I were walking down Mott Street, kind of where Soho and Chinatown meet, today when I saw this kitten hanging out in a corner store.  I asked a man who looked like he worked there what the cat's name was, and he thought for a minute and replied, "It Needs a Name."  Odd name!

New Cat

Jimmy and I got brunch yesterday afternoon with his friends David and Alisa.  They mentioned that they were planning to adopt a kitty from an adoption van today, and here she is!  She is two-and-a-half years old, but is still waiting on a name.  Very cute!  >^..^<

Bay Ridge Classy Kitty

Heidi saw this cat in Bay Ridge.  Looks comfy!

Etti-Cat II

Jimmy and I visited my favorite museum today, the New York City Transit Museum in Downtown Brooklyn.    You might remember that I went in May of this past year with my brother and his girlfriend and discovered Sadie, the resident mouser, and the Etti-Cat campaign.  Well, I had overlooked one of the Etti-Cats.  This time, she is telling us to pick up litter.  Kind of gross, Etti-Cat!

Puffy's Child?

There are two cats that live in the pet store across from Jimmy's house: Puffy and Puffy's child.  He went there to buy litter the other day and saw this adorable cat, but wasn't sure which cat it is.  What do you think?

Riverside Drive Cat

Jimmy saw this cat last night, sitting in a window of a building on Riverside Drive.  It looks very cozy in its warm house.

Rare Cat

Heidi saw this cat in Midtown!  I sure hope it has a storefront home... I don't think Midtown is the safest place for a cat to live :-/

My 15 Minutes of Fame

Yesterday a photo of me was featured on the Slate website, all because of a cat.  My boyfriend had Instagram-ed this picture of me and Gypsy (looking not particularly thrilled) the other day:

and his friend, who is a technology staff writer at Slate, decided to use it for his article on the new Instagram website.  Here I am on the technology homepage:

You can read the article (and see me yet again) here.

Mr. Fuzz

I walked to Lioni's today and had a hunch that I would see a cat along the way.  Well, on my way back to my apartment I saw this suuuuper cute and furry little cat.  He did not want to come near me, but checked me out from behind a bush.

Heidi saw this kitty in Dyker Heights recently.  It looks scary!

Kitty Orphans

Will was at the Animal Haven shelter the other day and sent me this picture of the kitties they have there.  Is he planning to adopt?!?  I am dying to know!
