Astoria Kitties

Jimmy and I were hanging out in Astoria for a bit yesterday when we (really, he) saw two kitties! Jimmy has a much better cat radar than me.

My friend Brittany was in Flushing yesterday and saw these city kitties!

Hamilton Heights Bodega Cats

Jimmy was out the other night in his neighborhood and found two bodega cats. This one was on Broadway and 141st St:

City Kitties Travels: New Orleans Cats

I went to New Orleans for a few days for spring break and saw sooooooo many city kitties!

First I saw this cat who lives at a veterinary clinic in the French Quarter:

Then I saw this cat while I was eaing beignets at Cafe Beignet in the French Quarter:

Later I was walking around and saw a kitty in a rug shop. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that not just one cat lives there... eight do! I got to meet seven of them. I think they must looooove living in a store that's filled with string, fabric scraps, and places to hide:

When I was walking down Magazine Street in the Garden District I saw this little fatty named Perch!

This cat lives in the famous jazz club in the French Quarter, Preservation Hall:

Finally, yesterday I saw this cat who lives in a pet store in the French Quarter:

I think New Orleans was a City Kitties success!

Even More 141st St Cats

Yesterday I went to visit Jimmy in Hamilton Heights and we went for a run up to the GW bridge. On the way back he showed me where some cats live near his house. Keet!

Jimmy saw this cat on 141st St the other day. Keeeet!

Exiled Cat

I was walking home from the gym tonight when I saw this poor cat being so pathetic on the sidewalk. I think it lives in the corner store that it was hanging out by and had been shut outside. It kept meowing, but I felt weird about letting an animal into a store (that prepares food). I waited around enough and eventually a couple of girls came by and went in the store and kitty bolted inside!

Narcisist Cat

Heidi and I were in the East Village yesterday when she spotted this cat sleeping in a store window! You can see its little cat reflection in the mirror >^..^<

Raggedy Cat

I've seen this raggedy cat when I've walked to the gym in the past, but never take a picture because he's always hanging out with intimidating men. Today there were only a couple intimidating men, so I finally got a picture! He looks raggedy, but he lives at a corner store and has been fixed. I think he's pretty well cared for.

UES Pet Store Cat

I was walking to my friend Marie's inaugural wine club on the Upper East Side the other day when I saw this fat cat!

Mishu

Jimmy and I saw Mishu down the block from Louis Armstrong's house in Corona on Sunday!

Flower Cats

I went on a crappy date this weekend on the Upper West Side and decided to walk home. On my way, I noticed these adorable kittens playing the flowers at a corner store on 106th St! It was basically the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Corona Twins

Jimmy and I hung out in Queens this weekend and saw these two kitties! I think this was in Corona, but I don't remember.
