City Kitties Travels: Defiant Graffiti Cat

I went to Defiant Brewing Company in Rockland County today on my way home from a conference and noticed this cute kitty graffiti in the back of the brewery.

Patsy's Kitties

I was on my way to Costco last night and decided to make a stop at Patsy's to get a slice of pizza. In an alley right near the restaurant I saw a huge container full of cat food, so I figured there must be a kitty nearby. Sure enough, far down at the other end of the alley was a super fat, fluffy orange cat trying to squeeze through the fence. Once it got through it was joined by its slimmer, gray friend. It reminded me of Scribble and Doodle a bit, though now Doodle is much more trim. Anyhow, the slim cat is in this picture, even though you can't see him.

Second Bailey Ave. Cat

I was walking in the Bronx the other day and had just seen this cat. As I was in the process of starting to Instagram it, I saw a second cat on Bailey Ave.! This one lives at some kind of Greek place.

Finally spring is here, so kitties are starting to come out of hiding. Earlier this week I got a ride back to the city from a colleague and he dropped me off in the Bronx right near Bronx Alehouse, which I had been wanting to check out for a while. I had a couple of good beers and decided to go for a walk. Not  long into my stroll did I see this lil cat who lives at some kind of auto body shop. >^..^<

I traveled around Eastern/Central Europe this past week and was really disappointed that I only saw one real cat (see Vienna cat, who didn't even make it into the picture). But I did see quite a bit of cat art in Bratislava. Enjoy!
