Craig

I had to go to Ridgewood, of all places, to accompany a friend of mine to a craft vendor class thing this weekend and had to kill about three hours there while she was occupied. While I was walking around I saw this adorable cat on Onderdonk Ave. The woman who lived in the house where he was hanging out came out and asked me if I'd like to adopt him. He has FIV and has been living outside there for 5 years. She and another neighbor feed him and keep him warm, and they also bring him to the vet (he had recently been, and had shaved fur from some kind of procedure). It made me so sad that I couldn't take him home. He is really sweet and friendly. If you want to take him in, let me know.

Oscar the Grouch

Jimmy and I were hanging out in Harlem yesterday and I had just mentioned that I hadn't seen a city kitty in so long (probably on account of the weather) when we spotted this cute little gray cat coming out of the trash on 126th St. It kept sticking out its tongue, so since it lives in the trash and is a little grumpy I named it Oscar the Grouch.

Rock and Roll Cat

Heidi saw this city kitty in the Grand St. subway station (or the "Grabs sex" station, according to her autocorrect).
